In love with heated and cosy rooms with the fireplace. The location of the hotel is handy and convenient, not far from cafes and restaurants, and national parks & historic town. There is dessert restaurant Cold Rock, set 200 metres walk away.

The location of this hotel is convenient. if you're a light sleeper, be aware that the big trucks passing through town might keep you up at night. the room was nice and warm, the bed was very clean, and the bathroom was fairly tidy. 🛏️.

Firewood was plentiful, a must, have for the winter chill. the cozy bed made for a good night's rest. Missing forks were a small inconvenience, but not a deal, breaker. A characterful stay overall, ideal for a budget, conscious traveler seeking a basic, no, frills escape. A Belgian traveler, I missed my gourmet cuisine but made do with the local fare. A quirky touch? Those curtains outside! .
